Activity Discussion: Criminal Narrative Themes
Everyone sees himself or herself as a unique individual. Everyone has a story to tell. Criminals tell stories also. They replay
them in their heads to justify their behavior. They tell stories to the arresting officers to downplay or excuse their crimes.
They may even express remorse and ask for forgiveness from their families and victims.
Using the module readings and the Argosy University online library resources, respond to the following questions:
What are the different criminal narrative themes as described in your readings?
How do individuals who commit crimes make sense of their lives?
Write your initial response in approximately 300 words. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.
