persuasion.
Prompting Questions for the Reflection:
– What did you think was the most persuasive part of King’s letter? Why do you think it was persuasive? How might you use this same tactic in your own life?
– In class, we looked at the organization and main ideas of King’s essay. Take a moment to reflect on how King chose the organization and ideas in his response to the
context and audience he faced. In particular, how does King’s organization respond to the letter written by the Alabama Clergymen?

– Thinking back to the attempt to persuade you discussed in week one, how could you adapt your message to the audience and context you face.
