You are in charge of orientating all newly hired RN’s. There are 15 RN’s in the class. The nurses were hired to work in the ICU, CCU, and Med-Surgical units.
Develop an orientation outline for the new RN employees
• What information should be included? Give rationales for topics chosen.
• Will the orientation include in-class theory and hands-on clinical experiences? Give rationale.
• Will you teach all the RN’s together and/or in groups? Give rationale.
• Submit a 2 week orientation schedule.
