In A Treatise of Human Nature, David Hume outlines a series of criticisms that
eventually lead to a fundamentally sceptical position about knowledge. In his Critique
of Pure Reason, Kant takes Hume’s criticisms seriously, but tries to find a solution to
safeguard the foundations of knowledge. Discuss Flume’s criticisms and analyse
