3. As a carrier of fire, Prometheus bears some resemblances to Lucifer/Satan. Reread (just for instance) Aeschylus. Lines 145 ff, 405 ff, 1495 ff, Th. 153 ff. , and the first chapters of Genesis and give two examples of their mythological kinship

4. Describe Ovid’s version of Ovid’s four ages of man from Prometheus’ creation of mankind. What are the characteristics of the Age of Iron?

 

5. What are Zeus’s punishments for Prometheus and how will he escape them? What does Io (female) have to with his eventual release? How long will it take for him to be free?
