Write my Paper on Crowdsending

You have a friend who works for a large campus university in the UK. The senior management team of the university are interested in implementing a new cycle scheme with the aim of reducing traffic on and around campus. The plan is to provide free or low cost hire cycles that students, once registered, can pick up and drop off at various points around the campus and neighbouring student residences.

The senior management team are aware that some students are already using their own cycles. They wondered whether information gathered from these cyclists could, firstly, help determine where would be best to locate cycle pick up and drop off points, and secondly, enable them to provide information to students on the best routes and journey times between different buildings around the campus. They have heard that Mobile Crowdsensing (MCS) may help with this, but are not sure exactly what this is or what it would involve.
Your friend, knowing you have recently studied T215, has offered you a consultancy to do some research (locating and using relevant resources) and write a report for the senior management team.

The report should:
. Explain and describe Mobile Crowdsensing and how it works, including just enough of the underlying technologies that are involved.
. Explain, describe, and provide some examples of, the different types of Mobile Crowdsensing, with particular consideration to what might be applicable in this scenario.
. Describe the potential benefits of using this technology in this scenario.
. Describe the potential problems that may be involved in using this
technology in this scenario, and how these could be overcome.
. Make a recommendation to the senior management team as to whether you think this would be a suitable approach. You do not need to advise on how a scheme would be implemented, but you should draw on your previous discussions of the benefits and problems.

Your friend warns you that the members of the senior management team are not technologists. Although they accept that some explanation of the underlying technology is necessary, such explanation should be at a low technical level.
The report should not exceed 1500 words and is due by 13 September 2017.
