The Reformation is a massive and wonderful topic. Luther, Calvin, the Radical Reformers, and the Anglican reformation are the four parts of the new “protesting” movement that swept across Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries. Since most students in America have been formed by the Protestant tradition it is good to actually study the reasons for the revolution that took place from what had been the given perceptions about reality for most of a thousand years in the Catholic Church.
