Submit your research article via the assignment tab under Critique of published quantitative research study AND your scholarly paper via Safe Assign. Refer to the CASP tool and to the Vance et al. (2013) article to guide you in answering the questions below, as appropriate. All aspects of your scholarly paper must be written in APA 6th edition format.

For this individual assignment you will summarize and evaluate a quantitative research study article that you select. You will submit a scholarly paper, using APA style, using the following guidelines.
In part 1 of your paper, write a brief (up to 500 words) summary of the article in your own words.
In part 2 of your paper, provide a 2-5 pages critique (750-2000 words).
You should address the following questions in your critique: (See grading rubric)
What is (are) the research problem(s)?
What is (are) the research question(s) (or hypothesis)?
Is the research important? Why?
What research design was used and procedures to collect data and were they appropriate? (provide rationale)
Describe the sampling method used in this study and its’ fit with the study design.
Describe the reliability and validity of all the instruments used. Were the rigour elements appropriate?
How was the data analyzed?
What is (are) the major finding(s) and are these findings important? (provide rationale)
Have the authors adequately addressed bias and study limitations? (provide rationale)
Are the authors’ conclusions warranted? (provide rationale)
