Write my Essay on Mathematics in Primary Education

1) Explain the mathematical content that year 5 or year 6 students need to know for collecting data, analyzing data and making decisions with data. (250 words)
2) Explain the pedagogy you would use to teach students the content in 1) above. (250 words)
3) Describe Year 5 or Year 6 student needs in the data collection and analysis cycle (Siemon et al., 2015, p. 694) and difficulties that may arise for the student with regards to this process. (250 words)
4) Describe the technological tools (e.g. games or simulations etc.) you would use to generate data or the statistical software you will use to graph data (e.g. Excel, TinkerPlots etc) when teaching Year 5 or Year 6 students. (250 words)
Part two: Practical part (1000 words)
In this second part of the assignment:
1) Explain in detail the different steps of the data collection and analysis cycle (Siemon et al., 2015, p. 694) you would use in a classroom (Year 5 or Year 6) to collect and analyse data. Justify why you make different choices for the different steps of your data collection and analysis cycle.
Include the data you will use in this investigation. The data can be primary data (data that were collected from your students) or secondary data (data available on the Internet (e.g. data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian Government)) or data generated from a probabilistic experiment (e.g. rolling a dice, spinning a coloured spinner etc.) (400 words)
2) Use the software identified in Part One (4) to represent the data: include a table of data and at least two data representations of your data in your assignment and discuss those data representations. (250 words)
3) Analyse and critique the data from your data representations, and draw conclusions (draw inferences) from your data using probabilistic language. (350 words)
