Does your interview provide evidence that “Collective play between users within these games seems to have its own benefits, extending from enhanced online social capital to increases in offline civic engagement” (Zhong, 2011, cited in Amichai-Hamburger et al)? Or do you see examples of the “deindividuation” described by Madigan? Does your interview suggest something about friendship that neither article addresses, or does it support the claims of one or the other?
