Order Description

The final examination will consist of a major research paper, ten to twelve pages long, double-spaced, in addition to the bibliography (i.e., 10-12 pages, plus bibliography).

Building upon the assigned readings, students will identify a problem (e.g., value, labor, money, trade, democracy, etc.) addressed by at least two of our economic thinkers. In 10-12 pages, students will identify, identify the significance, and solve the problem they identify.

Topic:
Even though our economy system and government regulations are protecting labor’s right, wealth inequality and discrimination are considering as one of the biggest problem in our labor system. Therefore, I decided to choose topic based on labor system and compare among Adam Smith, Karl Marx and John Maynard Keynes. Each one of them asserted different assumptions based on their theories. Then this paper will focus on what are the failures based on historical background and social atmosphere.
