Sponsorship and Other Forms of Income
• Types of sponsorship required (sources of income i.e. Grants, donations, merchandise)
• Outline of target sponsors (need to justify reasons for selection i.e. strategic fit with event and event’s objectives, congruence between markets)
• Discussion of how sponsors will be targeted/approached.
• Discussion of what the event can offer potential sponsors
• Inclusion of a Sponsorship Proposal provided to sponsors as an Appendix
Safety and Security
• Details of how you will address the safety of the event audience, performers, VIPs and staff (including first aid control, admission control, signage and policies e.g. lost children, complaints, violence)
• Outline emergency access to the venue and emergency management required.
• Detail the emergency reporting relationships and how you will communicate information
• Security requirements
Risk Management
• Identify risks with respect to your event
• Evaluate and categorise risks
• Develop risk minimisation strategies to limit the likelihood of risk occurring
• Develop a contingency plan covering likely/potential risks
• Approvals and Insurances required
•
