Your research proposal should contain the following sub-sections: • Aims of the study (What are you planning to study, examine or investigate? What do you hope to accomplish? You can begin with the statement: ″In this research project, I propose to conduct an ethnographic study of ……..″) • Significance of the study (Why is this study important? How will it contribute to an understanding of relevant issues?) • Literature review: A short review of literature relevant to your research topic • Research methodology (How are you going to conduct the study? What sort of research techniques and tools are you planning to employ and why have you chosen them? Who are your respondents or participants? Provide details on the different research techniques you intend to use.
