Do social networking sites create communities? If so, how do they do this? If not, why not?

 

Order Description

toрic for my course cаlled Social Media.

Introduction:
first define social networks and reference its definition from the readings from David beer, Bicole Alison and Dana Boyd. ( I will attach them later)
then define communities. then introduce my thesis that yes social networks create communities but communities are not only online.
In the body first include a paragraph about why social networking sites create communities (the YES part of the question) with a few examples to support the argument
like Linkedin Facebook, Twitter, etc..
then talk about the BUT they are not only online. what are the ways of communication? why does it matter?
