Getting to the airport on time is crucial, but getting to eat, drink, or get something to read before a flight is even more critical.
The concessions, many times, make or break an airport. Over the past10 years, airports have been designed to cater to all
clientele. Up-scale restaurants, high-end stores, and unique kiosks now fill the domestic and international concourses.
However, do concessions really add to the airport’s level of service?

 

Contact an airport concessionaire. There are many ways to do this: Visit an airport, email the
establishment, or call the headquarters.

Then, provide the following information:

What concession did you investigate?

Is the concession in the best location to provide service?

What group of people predominately uses this concession?

Are there any areas where you, as a planner, can help the business?

Add personal thoughts about the concession, concentrating on how well it fits into the overall layout ofthe passenger building.
