Choose a topic area that matters to you. Are you passionate about environmental impacts? Employment practices? Health, education, the arts, social justice, economic development, or other issues affecting the global economy and sustainable wellbeing for individuals, communities, and society? In addition, if you have international experience, cultural insights, or sector expertise, it’s a wonderful opportunity for us all to learn from those perspectives. Within that scope, your paper will cover a specific case—a situation or incident involving a particular non-profit, for-profit, or social enterprise organization. This can be a corporate scandal, or a story of highly principled decision-making with positive impacts on society, or a case where business practices and their impacts on society might be more open to interpretation.Your paper should include all salient information to build a case study—investigative journalism on who, what, when, where, how, and why—but it must go beyond simply retelling the story. The primary purpose is to express your critical thinking and analysis of the business situation and the social impacts at stake, and to argue for a particular stance in your final interpretation. Finally, you will offer recommendations for leadership strategies and tactics going forward.2,500 words, double-spaced, 12-pt Courier or Times New Roman font
