I need each answer under each question

Part 1

Since Books VIII and IX of Aristotle’s Ethics total about 40 pages in our text, I have pared down the readings. The notation at the end of each question indicates what book and chapter you should read to find the answer. The book and chapter numbers are found in the margins of the text along with the Bekker numbers (the standard means by which scholars refer to Aristotle’s works). It’s not the best layout I’ve seen, so give yourself a little time to figure out how the marginal notations work.

1. What reasons does Aristotle give for thinking that friendship necessary? (viii 1)
