I’m stuck on a Philosophy question and need an explanation.

3.”According to Blanshard every “fact” is really just a bunch of beliefs you already have about that kind of fact, and there is no such thing as a “pure” fact that consists of just the fact with no related beliefs. Do you think this claim is true? [Explain]. If not, can you think of any fact that does not in the end come down to being a bundle of beliefs?” (Velasquez, 13 ed. p. 442).

I think Blanshard is wrong! How can a fact be a bunch of beliefs one already has? I mean not everyone believes the same and my beliefs can be wrong. A belief is just a strong opinion someone has with no beneficial evidence to back up what they believe. I can believe that the sky is baby blue consistently would that be a fact? No, the sky isn’t always blue or baby blue. The sky changes with the season and the weather. The way to prove that is looking up in the sky. The sky is different for thunderstorms, snow, heat and etc. The sky is the best thing to use because it’s not a belief it is what it is. No one can say the sky is consistently the same without being untruthful. I can see how Blanshard can feel the way he does. Everyone interprets differently and comprehend different as well. I could say the water is green. The next person could say its blue. Are we both wrong or are our interpretations different? What seems one way to me could be different through the eyes of another being. The sky is forever changing but for the most part I believe what all of us see in the daylight is what we get. It’s no belief but the fact we have eyes to vividly see a sky that doesn’t give off reflections of colors like water does.
