Annotated Bibliography
The student will search for current literature related to an assigned topic. The specific guidelines are located below in the grading rubric. The students should read and create an annotated bibliography of 3-4 peer-reviewed original research articles and summarize them based on the criteria listed in the rubric. The annotated bibliography can include literature from related disciplines, but should be pertinent to nursing science (i.e. education, sociology, medicine, psychology, nursing). The student will create a summary paragraph listing and describing the family or patient-centric nursing approaches/interventions/actions that are supported by the findings described in the annotated bibliography. The annotated bibliography should assist readers to decide whether the article is of use in their own work.
