Nora Ephron’s “The Boston Photographs” p.g. 171-176
Answer the question in 300 words or more. Organize your response in the form of a mini essay (intro, body, and conclusion).
Make sure the thesis is clear in the introduction; the topic sentence is the first sentence of the body paragraph, and the conclusion should wrap up the overall argument of the mini essay.
Ephron thinks it would be a good thing if more photographs of death and dying were published by newspapers (paras. 11-13). In an evaluation essay, state her reasons and your evaluation of them.
Evaluation: a way of judging someone or something as good or bad. Writing an evaluative essay involves the writer to fully examine both sides and define a debatable judgment.
