a. How is the topic defined? Who defines it? Is there controversy regarding how it is defined?

b. Provide a historical context for the topic.

c. What is the scope of the problem or issue? What is its prevalence?

3. Describe what is currently being done to address this topic. Does the literature identify any gaps?

4. Tell about the work being done at an agency that works with these victims and the impact it has on addressing family violence and the clients they serve. Integrate the information from the agency with research.

5. Highlight any gaps or similarities you identify between information you researched with the experiences of the agency.

6. In your conclusion include the following:

a. What more would you like to know about the topic?

b. Are there unanswered questions? Any surprises?

c. Tie together the research, interview, and your experience.

Follow APA format (such as title page, headings, intro and conclusion, reference page). Don’t forget to cite in text.
