I’m working on a psychology report and need support to help me understand better.

Psychological Article Summary – This assignment entails finding an article from an academic journal from our library or other place. Be sure and search for scholarly journals such as Psychology Today, Scientific American, Discover, etc. (ask the instructor for approval of journal if unsure). No pop magazines. On-line articles from scholarly journal websites will be accepted with prior approval from Instructor. Check with your instructor if you have a question about the journal or magazine. Our library has a good collection of journals that would be accepted. You’ll have to make a copy of the article, so you can take it with you to read and report on. You want to find articles on some psychological phenomenon experienced by individuals in society. The article summary must be, at least, 3-5 pages (including a cover page, an abstract page, evaluation/summary pages, and reference page).

In your report, summarize the article. What does the article discuss? Explain the content of the article. Tell why the article is interesting to you. What are the main ideas of the article? Why is the subject important? What are the implications of the subject matter? You MUST cite every paragraph. Give your opinion of the topic in the final paragraph. Your summary should be 2 to 3 pages in length and cite the article in APA style throughout the paper and at the close of your summary on a separate sheet (this is the reference page).
