We can work on ethical responsibilities of the practitioners

“The era of big data has accelerated the use of data mining. Data mining methods, with their power and automaticity, have the ability to cope with huge amounts of data and extract value.” Data mining practices within organizations are often conducted by highly skilled practitioners that report their findings to management who may have limited knowledge on data mining methodologies. In addition, as we have discussed in this course predictive and classification results are accompanied with errors which should be understood in context to the prediction or classification being made for the “extracted value”. In other words, predictive modeling has limitations which may not be fully understood by management.
