Environment Support Written Curriculum Planning Culturally Relevant and Anti-Bias: Written and Block Plan (see below for the Block Plan)

Student will develop a weeklong, block plan, of linguistically and culturally relevant and anti-bias activities using ‘Weekly Linguistically and Culturally Relevant and Anti-Bias Curriculum Planning Form.’ In the week form, student will plan activities that are based on the theme and that reflect children’s cultural, family, and community experiences and home language as well as individual interests and developmental needs. In addition, students will be including books that he/she will be reading (2-3 books per day taken from above list) in the form. The planning sheet should show the routine/scheduled activities, DRDP (brief developmental focus) and Anti-bias area(s) of the activities. In addition to weeklong block plan, student will plan one activity from each curriculum area, planning a detail/specific lesson.

Please note that one day needs to have details- as if you would provide a substitute so they would know what to do:
