Assessment Description

The purpose of this assignment is to identify quality standards and requirements and communicate them to project stakeholders.

Part 1

For this assignment, read the “Running Case” in Chapter 8 of the textbook. Complete the following tasks.

1. Using the “Global Treps Quality Standards,” determine a list of quality standards or requirements related to meeting the stakeholder expectations described in the “Running Case.” In the Excel document, determine the functionality, features, and systems output

2. Open the “Global Treps Project Rev1” Microsoft Project file submitted for the Topic 2 assignment. Update the notes for each relevant task. This supplemental documentation will act as the work breakdown structure dictionary. Save the Microsoft Project file as “Global Treps Project Rev2.”

Part 2

Review the “Planning Communications Management” section and Table 10-1 “Sample Stakeholder Communications Analysis” from Chapter 10 in the textbook. Using the list of quality standards or requirements created in Part 1, complete the “Communication Management Plan Template” to formalize your communications management plan.

General Requirements

Submit the “Global Treps Quality Standards,” “Global Treps Project Rev2,” and the “Communication Management Plan Template.” 

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
