ORDER DESCRIPTION
You are required to write a research proposal for a potential dissertation. The research proposal should consist of the following elements:
• Literature Review
• Managerial problem(s)
• Research objectives
• Research design
• Data, which you may need to conduct the research
• Anticipated outcomes
• Schedule (Gantt Chart or similar)
Each of the above elements carries a specific percentage towards the final mark of this part. You will find their weights in the assessment criteria below.
The word limit is 1000 words (± 10%). Submission via Turn-it-in only. This part is submitted together with part 2 in one word file..
The literature review should critically discuss the academic(!) literature of the problem(s) you wish to investigate. The literature review carries most of the weight (see below). The literature you are going to analyse must not include the literature for part 2. The Managerial Problem is the theory on which your analysis is based upon. The research objective clearly spells out what you would like to investigate and the research design says how you will investigate the topic. At this point you should know what data you need and where to find it or how to generate it. You should also have an idea what the anticipated outcomes are and you need to include a timeline (schedule) of your schedule.
This assignment is worth 25% of the total mark for this unit
