You have been tasked to create a Transition Department within your school. You work for a school for students with disabilities. Transitioning services begin at the age of 14 to 22. Currently, there is only one person that works within the department and for TWO level 5 schools. In most school settings, Transition Departments are comprised of 3 to 5 staff members.
Your presentation or proposal is to convince the Executive Team why the Transition Department needs more than one person (which is currently the Transition Coordinator). For example, there should be at least a Vocational Specialist, Job Coach, etc. In the future, the Executive Team would like transition to have a trade school component. For example, we could offer a Hospitality Program, Culinary, etc. Explain what that could look like in the future.

THINGS REQUIRED TO BE INCLUDED:
1. What would be the job title and duties of additional members of the department
2. Provide statistical data (actual data) that supports why transition needs more than one person running the entire department. Use graphs, charts, etc. also
3. What would/could the budget look like?
4. Advantages of having more manpower to support with transition services
5. Vocational trades or services that would benefit the school (keeping in mind that some students are severely disabled)
