Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to prepare the DNP student for professional practice at the doctoral level. The student will explore the role of the DNP prepared nurse in utilizing transformational leadership within appropriate patient care settings. Additionally, the student will complete a self-assessment of personal strengths and leadership styles and apply these principles to practice. (DNP Essential III: 3)

REQUIREMENTS:

2. The Transformational Leadership: Defining the APN RolePaper is worth 150 points and will be graded using the designated rubric. Grading criteria include quality of content, appropriate citations, use of Standard English grammar, and overall organization and readability.
