3. Take away foods are more prevalent among male students
How to write the Literature Review
Paragraph One:
You must introduce the health problem/issue that will be improved in the long term by implementing the findings of your research project. Example: it’s only example the information in this paragraph are not related to my question if you are investigating poor nutrition, then you could choose any of the health issues associated with poor diet, e.g. obesity, cardiovascular disease etc. If you are looking at academic performance or outcomes, you could state some information about how students might come out of a degree lacking some knowledge/confidence and this may impact their quality of work.
Paragraph Two:
You need to consider a theory here that can be used to understand the findings of your project – you can try googling your research question + theory. We will cover this in more detail next week.
Paragraph Three:
What has already been found in the literature in your topic area. Has anyone else done a similar project? Is it slightly different in some way? ie investigating in children rather than adults etc. Remember the lit review is supposed to generate rationale for your research question, ie there is a need for the research project to be done. So you should finish this paragraph in a statement about the gap in the current literature.
Paragraph Four:
Statement of your research question and three hypotheses.
