Order Description

Learners will prepare an essay, of at least two (2) pages in which they will apply the concepts learned in this course to the life of a leader of the student’s choice. The essay is NOT a biography. It is an academically-oriented analysis of the leader’s actions that exemplify the concepts contained in the course.
The subject for the essay must be a person known to the student, as opposed to a famous person. If the subject of the essay would not recognize you on sight and know at least some of your background, the subject will not be acceptable for the essay.
The most important aspect of the Leader Analysis Essay is the demonstration of strong integration of leadership theories in light of the subject’s behavior. A minimum of two theories must be identified as observed leadership. ONLY theories covered in the course and identified in the Course Outline of the Syllabus may be referenced in this essay. The presence of a theory or concept within the textbook does not qualify the theory or concept for inclusion in the essay.
