Power Of Hate Hate can be a very strong emotion of passionate dislike , feeling of revenge and disgust . Hate can cause people to behave in a certain way . When taken too far these feelings can cause people to act upon them in negative ways . Motivations can be very strong depending on what it is , hate can cause a person to be very pessimistic towards themselves and others . Motivation is an important element that can inspire others to accomplish their goals whether positive or negative . In the play , Hamlet , the author William Shakespeare , develops the idea that if an individual ‘s nature of motivation is directed towards hate it then can cause a negative impact towards themselves and others .

In other words , If you focus your motivation towards hatred and negative feelings , they will drive you to behave or act in an unpleasant way leaving negative impacts on yourself and others around you . In the play Hamlet , Hamlet ‘s motivations from the beginning of the play to the end were mainly towards hate among himself and others . After coming upon the fact that his mother married his uncle only less than two months after his father ‘s death , he also comes upon the ghost of his father , who tells him that his death was not an accident and was a murder that was committed by his own uncle . This causes a lot of hate to run around . Hamlet ‘s hate drives him to an antic disposition and motivates him to get revenge on his father ‘s death . Hamlet shows that his motivation is directed towards hate causing his mood and train of thought to differ starting at the beginning of the play and following towards the end of the play.
