Write an evaluation essay that includes:
1. A concise description of the subject or subjects being evaluated. Familiarize your readers with the subject and its relevant context.
2. Use clearly defined criteria as the basis for your evaluation. The criteria can be presented as the separate reasons that support your overall
judgement. or they can be announced separately as paragraph anchors.
3. Demonstrate that you are knowledgeable about the subject.
4. Demonstrate that you are balanced and objective and fair.
5. As always. provide good support for your reasons. “Good” can refer to the quality of the individual pieces of support. and it can also refer to the
variety and depth of support you offer.
6. If possible. give your evaluation a larger purpose/message/value/significance. Why should the reader care about the subject and the judgement?

Font: Times New Roman. size 12
Spacing: Double
Justification: Left only
Margins: 1″ top. bottom. left. right. You may have to adjust these in your word processor.
Title page: None
Minimum length: 3.5 full pages of text (11 full lines of text = one half page)
Maximum length: 6 full pages of text
Pagination: MLA style: last name and page number. upper right portion of the header
