Papers should be carefully edited, and reflect your own original thought. Your goal is to argue an idea, and to use classroom materials (as well as relevant outside sources) to support your thesis. Grades will be evaluated on the basis of form (careful editing, a strong thesis, compelling conclusion, clear writing) and on content (your point of view is strongly apparent throughout and is supported by outside materials).
