Give an overview of the industry and company that you have chosen, as well as HR practices related to your chosen HR topic. You may choose to compare two or three global locations or choose one site. Conclude about the strengths and limitations of current practice in the organisation that you have selected. Recommendations will focus on what you think they should do to improve the way that they approach this aspect of HR.

Group Report Assessment Criteria

 

Reports should be a maximum of 2000 words in length and will be assessed using the following criteria:

 

  1. Structure, Style and Presentation (20%)

Coherence of the report and the extent to which it examines the topic in sufficient breadth and depth, whether its analysis and conclusions are supported by academic and organisation sources and that these are referenced using the Harvard style of Referencing.

 

  1. Analysis and Critique (30%)

Understanding and applying relevant theories and concepts, with evidence of critical analysis of these.

 

  1. Depth of Understanding of Issues related to the Question (30%)

The extent to which the report meets the key requirements of the brief: namely providing an analysis and critique of the HR topic chosen, identifying key issues and making well argued recommendations for improvement.

 

  1. Quality of Research and Use of Sources (20%)

Use of relevant texts, journal articles and evidence of wider reading. Judicious and critical incorporation of organisational sources.
