OVERVIEW
The Director of Planning and Preparedness of the UAE’s National Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has directed your team to develop an Emergency Management Support Plan (EMSP) and present the plan to him and the Director General for approval in April.

Your team will develop the Emergency Management Support Plan as a part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Response Framework (NRF). You will also identify for the DG and Director of planning the kind of resources needed to implement the EMSP.

Your group will write an EMSP for operational functions that are to be performed during a response to an incident involving the following hazard :

Radiological/ Nuclear Accident
