Workplace Email to Supervisor: You have been working in sales at a medical supply company for two years. Your supervisor has recently denied your request for a 5% annual salary increase, citing the weak economy. However, the company itself has experienced considerable and steady growth in profits over the past 5 years. Your personal sales numbers are in the top 10% of the company, and you are single-handedly responsible for 40% of the sales in your division.
Company policy dictates that you any salary-related complaints or requests must be put in writing. Compose an email to your supervisor that protests his decision and makes an argument for why you should receive your requested raise.
