Create a lesson Plan about Plankton for teachers, and design the students lab – preferably a lab that is done at the beach(GRADES 8-10) KEEP IT SIMPLE AND REMEMBER THAT THE EQUIPMENT CANNOT BE EXTRAVAGANT/EXPENSIVE – aiming these lesson plans to low budget schools

1) teachers
– student learning objectives
– student goals
– Common Core standards, Next generation standards – brief intro on rugosity of the ocean
– list of materials needed for the lab
– step by step for how to set up experiment
– include master sheet of any papers students will need

2) students sheet
– simpler/shorter intro.
– pre lab questions
– simpler steps for students to follow (should be easy that a 5th grader could read and understand how to conduct the experiment)
– data sheet
– simple questions asking about the experiment (post lab questions
