Philosophy ethics Academic Essay

Philosophy ethics

So Sandel has been in some ways an ironic guide to our survey of modern ethical theory, given that he thinks so much of it misses the mark.
IN the last two chapters, he gives us his own vision of what goodness entails, and what the good society looks like. It invokes Aristotle, it involves narrative, it
involves thick conceptions of the good, and robust virtues like courage, loyalty, and sacrifice…and it eschews mere talk of freedom and individuality.

What do you make of Sandel’s ideas? Are his criticisms of the utilitarians, Kant, and Rawls…fair? (in 150 words)
