This research paper must be separated into four (4) sections. This assignment is only part of a research paper to follow in the coming months. This assignment will be sectioned by the following categories:

1. Introduction: Length = 1 Page on “ObamaCare: Repeal and Replace implications for the Lower and Middle class.”

2. PROBLEM STATEMENT: Length = 1 Page – Your problem statement provides a clear beginning for the entire research project. A general overview of your research topic, it clearly identifies the issue you plan to study and the rationale for your research. • Tax implications on possible “Repeal and Replace” of the Affordable Care Act.
• Pros and Cons of the of possible repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
• Implications of possible “Repeal and Replace” of the Affordable Care Act on Hospitals, Clinics, and Emergency Rooms.
• Implications of possible “Repeal and Replace” of the Affordable Care Act on insurance carriers, HMO’s and PPO’s.
• Possibility of amended Affordable Care Act instead of “Repeal and Replace”

3. BACKGROUND: Length = 1.5 Pages – Provide background information on the history and setting (e.g. organization, functional department, etc.) of the problem. Include enough information to enable readers to understand the context of the problem. The necessary background information can be obtained from company reports and interviews with knowledgeable persons in the organization.

4. LITERATURE REVIEW: Length = 4.5 Pages – Review literature related to your topic (studies, books, articles closely related to your topic) to provide the framework for your research. Identify what is already known, being careful to read and report on experts on your subject. Make every effort to locate and review original sources. Conclude this section with a succinct summary of important concepts gleaned from the review and their application to the research project.
