The research question should be as follows: ‘From what we can see so far, what are the key challenges the rise of populism in Europe will present for the future of the European project?
You wil have to expand each of the different areas in the paper proposal and as I said change the hypothesis .
-Suggested structure/ key elements to include:
An introduction that includes a note on the relevance/significance of the topic and the stated scope of the analysis;
An literature review (little longer than in the proposal) that maps out the literature and locates a gap, i.e. justifies the need for your paper;
A clearly stated research question that comes to fill this gap;
A hypothesis, which is a tentative answer to the research question that you will test out in your research;
An analysis of the data and evidence. This is the main body of the paper.
A conclusion: what is your argument following the analysis and what are the broader implications?
