You are working for Creative Advertising Agency as the Accounts Executive. Recently, your
agency was contacted by the ABC College (see the case study information given under
Additional Information section) to develop print advertisement for the following:
• Sydney Based Student News Paper
• an Indian Magazine circulated in Sydney
• Multicultural Event taking place at Darling Harbour
The reason for these new ads is due to the introduction of their highly anticipated
Commercial Cookery course. ABC College wants to capitalise the opportunity by placing
advertisements in various channels (see above).

Task 1
You are meeting with the Marketing Manager (your trainer will play the role of the
Marketing Manager) of ABC College to confirm central idea, technique/s for expressing the
idea/concept and mass print media to be used
During your discussion with the Manager, you must collect the information that you will use
in the Creative Brief (see the Template below).

a. Create draft artwork for all three advertisements

statements, requirement to specify the target audience
c. Show the draft artwork to the Marketing Manager of ABC College to gain approval
