Write a four page essay (paginated) about your artist. Include in your paper no more than one full page of biographical information. Cover page and works cited page
are not considered part of the main text. Include with your paper a printed depiction of the each work discussed. Black and white is okay. At least 4X6 prints please.
Picture is also not part of main text.
Incorporate in your discussion three of the artist’s works. Describe the work in detail. How does the work fit into the artist’s style, and the artistic conventions of
the time?
How does the artist and their work relate to the social, political, and religious situations of the time?
What were the artist’s contributions to the Renaissance or era in which they worked? Did the artist’s work inspire future generations of artists?
Turn paper in stapled on the top left corner. No folders, plastic inserts or other retaining materials please.
References: THIS IS A RESEARCH PAPER. Multiple references are required for this paper. Minimum of three is considered responsive for this paper. Use books, journal
articles. A good rule of thumb for college writing is one different reference per page written. Jstor and ebsco host are excellent sources on this campus.
