Ms. Huggins is the former president of Healthdyne and she “has successfully carried out the organizational mission—to provide more affordable and better quality healthcare for its members by setting the statewide standard for excellence” (332). Ms. Huggins represents Skill Theory of leadership. She represents this type of theory because she is showing the abilities and skills to be able to lead and provide the better qualities of healthcare as the president of Healthdyne. Ms. Huggins could also have servant leadership qualities because she in order for her to have provided more affordable and better quality healthcare she must unselfishly listen and help the interest of people. She seems like she enjoys to serve others and meet their needs.
