Health Promotion Porject-Part 2-(Literature review)
Order Description
This is the part 2 of the project (see attached the part 1, the instructions as for you to cover all items and an example to give you an idea but it is missing title, abstract pages)Course Project: Health Promotion Literature Review
In Week 1 you created a plan for the health promotion project for this course. (Writer, see attached Part 1 of this project with the professor feedback so you can proceed to part 2 or literature review)
Complete a comprehensive review of the literature on your topic. The goal of the review of the literature is to better understand the components of the health promotion problem identified. Begin with the selection and development of a theoretical framework for the project. Based upon this framework, you can select literature and data from a variety of resources to help explain the phenomena and to help identify potential interventions for the problem. Synthesize this information and utilize a conceptual framework to help integrate all aspects of the plan into a workable project. Utilize the feedback from your facilitator to improve each week’s work.
(A literature review discusses published information in a particular subject area. A literature review is a simple summary of the sources, and it usually has an organizational pattern and combines both summary and synthesis. A summary is a recap of the important information of the source, but a synthesis is a re-organization, or a reshuffling, of that information. For your projects you should have minimally 5 different sources you are reviewing.
A theoretical framework provides a broad explanation of relationships that exists between concepts. It provides organization for your project and gives it validity that it is grounded in theory. For this project you should mention which nurse theorist you will base you work upon.
Some theoretical frameworks from nursing
• Uncertainty: Mishel (1988)
• Interpersonal theory: Peplau (1988)
• Health promotion: Pender (1987)
• Goal attainment: King (1981)
• Interaction model of client behavior: Cox (1982)
• Self-care deficit theory: Orem (1991
• Unitary person: Rogers (1970)
• Adaptation: Roy (1984)
• Systems model: Neuman (1972)
