Objective

Your Literature Review topic can be on any specific aspect of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine in
relation to scintigraphy of the brain, sentinel node scintigraphy, infection scintigraphy or
parathyroid scintigraphy.
Initially you will need to read broadly on your chosen topic to enrich your understanding. This
exercise will be useful in refining your topic and establishing the perspective you will take, and
narrow the scope of your review.
You will need to identify the following aspects:

• What are the key theories, concepts and ideas?
• How is knowledge on the subject structured and organised?
• What are the main questions and problems that have been addressed to date?
