-Both advertisers are clearly appealing to parents, but how do they differ in their approach?
-What kind of parent is each ad targeting?
-How does the ad appeal to parents, specifically pathos? In other words, how does each ad tap into a specific type of value/identity?
-What is the ethos of each advertisement? What is their persona? How do they create credibility with the audience?
-Consider visual rhetoric here. How do the commercials differ visually? How do the colors differ? Why is that important? What about the camera angles?
4. In your reading response, discuss the above questions.
-Use specific examples from both advertisements (colors, sounds, dialogue, etc).
-Make sure you explain why you’ve come to the conclusions you have about the audience.
