Development of Techno-Economic Analysis of Cassava Waste for Energy Generation via Therm-chemical Process in Nigeria.

Aim and Objectives
The main aim of this project is to develop a techno-economic analysis of Thermo chemical processing route for the conversion of solid waste biomass (peels, bark and bagasse) from cassava processing in Nigeria to energy. The bio-energy scenarios will be modelled using Aspen Plus.
Objectives
The investigations in this project will focus on:
(1) To accurately determine of the amounts and locations of cassava waste in Nigeria, together with estimation of the fraction available for collection and the cost of collection and transport to suitable central locations
(2) To carry out comprehensive literature review of literature related to cassava waste conversion processes. Existing experimental will also be collected from literature
(3) To develop a process model of cassava waste conversion process using Aspen Plus software
(4) To validate the process model developed in (iii) using experimental data collected in (ii)
(5) To carry out process and economic analysis using the model developed
(6) Complete an economic assessment of waste treatment options using the processing model developed
The requirements are at least, to satisfy the 3 tasks mentioned above which involved developing the Aspen plus model (making sure is running and converge) and performing sensitive studies with different parameters involved. In essence the following are important, process flow sheets; process flow diagram of the the different model in the Aspen Plus and results in term of tables and graphs from the sensitive study. The deadline for the first phase is 20/6/2016.
I had already started the simulation but got stock; and some errors indicated.
I am concerned to know if you can handle this objective 1,2,3 and 4 between now and Tuesday. I need to have progress report on Tuesday 20th Sept., for meeting with my supervisor (s). Then you will continue with objective 5,6 and any inputs plus corrections (if any) from my supervisor (s). I will be glad for weekly report but final deadline is October 7, 2016 for review on October 21.

In page 26 (Figure 2.3 Aspen Plus simulation flowsheet); page 39 (Figure 3.2 Fast pyrolysis process flowsheet (A100- A600)) and page 40 (Figure 3.3 Bio-oil hydroprocessing and hydrogen production (A700 � A800) are some good guide.
Include in the report Aspen Plus model developed, graphs from the simulations results, diagrams, tables, etc. Any diagram from textbooks, academic journal, etc should be well reference.
The words should be increase if need be, please.
