Order Description
Objective

Evaluate the equitable distribution of fiscal, human, and capital resources available to the school district, identify areas of strength, and make recommendations for improvement.

General Directions

Step 1.

Locate and read the most current Annual Financial Report conducted and completed by auditors for your school district. This will most likely be the FY 2016 audit. You will find the most recent on the Georgia Department of Audits website, www.audits.ga.gov. in the Local Government Reports section. Many districts also include the annual audit with other public documents on the district website; however, make certain you are using an official audit report completed and signed by an independent external auditing agency.

Step 2.

Use the template provided to complete a three to four (3-4) page Executive Summary that focuses on the school district’s resources and your assessment of the degree to which these resources are equitably allocated.
