written a literature review about dance, It’s promising, according to my supervisor but it needs significant rewriting. My supervisor said that I misunderstood what I
am supposed to do/write. What I am supposed to do is to 1-explain what is available on the subject and 2-how useful (or not) that is for my research. Instead, I give
an account of the subject matter as covered in the literature. what you are supposed to write is: 1) which books are available in dance in films, specifically in
Kuwait cinema? 2) what ground they cover? 3) how useful what they cover is for my research? What I do instead, is to give an account of the history of Kuwaiti cinema
all over again.

identify what is beneficial to your project and where there are gaps in the literature and how your project is aiming to fill them. Make sense? So for instance, in the
dance section, think about how there is limited academic work on dance film or dance in film despite both sharing a visual scope.
