CRNA Personal Statement

Throughout my life as a nursing student, nothing interested me more than learning the aspects of nursing that involve the concepts of physiology and pharmacology. I often wondered how it would be caring for these patients by performing some of the invasive techniques. However, my experiences at the bedside have offered me insights of how to manage critically ill patients who are usually intubated and sedated. Such patients require more than just care and nurses in charge should have the skills to perform these invasive techniques. Therefore, I am determined to do more than just bedside nursing. I want to advance my nursing practice by gaining technical skills and knowledge in anesthesia.
